Polamco has more than 20 years experience in the manufacture of backshell adaptors for the cable harness industry.

The company has now extended its range of metal adaptors to include a comprehensive system of conduit fittings which are fully compatible with all known circular connectors, as well as a large number of D sub-miniature, micro-miniature and other rectangular interfaces.

The Polamco conduit system has been designed to provide a series of fully screened, environmentally sealed cable assembly systems for commercial, mass transportation, test equipment and aerospace/defence applications.

The Polamco conduit system can be supplied as component parts or as an assembled conduit to predetermined length and form. We are offering a flexible service to enable a conduit system to be designed and built to the requirements of our customers.

Screening

A variety of screenbraid is offered as part of the Polamco conduit systems and the following options are available:

• Tinned copper braid - either 90% or 93% coverage
• Nickel braid - 90% or 93% coverage.
• Stainless Steel braid.  Braid can be either internal or external to the chosen conduit material
